                             Vidyasagar Was a Great Man of India. He Was Born at Birsingha Village in Undivided Midnapore District in The Year 1820. Thakurdas Bandyopadhyay ( Banerjee ) Was His Father. Bhagabati Devi Was His Mother. He Was Born in a Poor Family. He Read in The Village 'Paathshala'. Then He Came to Kolkata For Further Studies. He Was Very Learned. He Was Very Kind Also. He Helped Many People. He Wrote Many Books. 'Barna Parichay' is One of Them. He Struggled Hard For Female Education. He Built Hospitals For The Poor. He Established Many Girls Schools. He Died in 1891. But Vidyasagar Will Always Live in Our Memory.

                         Rabindranath Tagore

                             Rabindranath Tagore Was a Great Poet of India. He Was Born in Kolkata in 1861. Maharshi Debendranath Was His Father, Sarada Devi Was His Mother. Rabindranath Wrote Poems From His Childhood. He Got The Nobel Prize in Literature in 1913. He Was Also a Painter, a Novelist and An Educationalist. Rabindranath Founded Viswabharati University at Shantiniketan. He Was a Great Patriot. He Wrote Many Patriotic Poems and Songs. Our National Anthem is Written By Him. Tagore Died in The Year 1941. But His Works Can Never Die.

                         Mahatma Gandhi - Bapuji

                            Mahatma Gandhi Was a Great Freedom Fighter of India. He Was Born in The Year 1869 in Gujarat. Kaba Gandhi and Putli Bai Were His Parents. He Was Very Truthful From His Childhood. He Became a Barrister and Went to South Africa. There Gandhiji Faught Against The British. Then He Came Back to India. He Became The Leader of Our Freedom Struggle. His Weapons Were Truth and Non-Violence. He Also Worked For The Poor and Untouchable People. He Lived a Very Simple Life. Gandhiji Was Killed in 1948. He is Called The 'Father of The Nation'.

                        Subhaschandra Bose

                               Subhaschandra Was a Great Son of India. He Was Born on 23rd January in 1897 at Cuttack in Odissa. Janakinath Basu Was His Father. Prabhabati Devi Was His Mother. Subhashchandra Was a Very Good Student. He Stood Second in The Matriculation Examination. Then He Stood Fourth in The I. C. S. Examination. He Was a Great Patriot and Freedom Fighter. He Became The President of The Indian National Congress. He Formed The Forward Bloc. He Also Formed The Azad Hind Fouz. The Army Called Him 'Netaji'. We Know Nothing Clearly About His Death. Dead or Alive Netaji Will Live in Our Hearts Forever.

                        Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru

                                    Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Was a Great Freedom Fighter. He Was Our First Prime Minister. He Was Born in 1889. Motilal Nehru and Swaruprani Were His Parents. He Became a Barrister. Then Jawaharlal Joined India's Freedom Movement and Soon Became a Great Leader. He Was The President of The Indian National Congress. Jawaharlal Was The Maker of Modern India. He Worked For The Peace and Progress of Our Country. He Was Also a Very Learned Man. He Wrote Many Books. He Loved Children Very Much. We Observe His Birthday as Children's Day. He Died in The Year 1964.

                   Sri Ramakrishna Paramhans Dev

                                          Sri Ramakrishna Was a Great Saint of India. He Was Born at Kamarpukur in 1836. His Nick Name Was Gadai. Kshudiram Chattopadhyay ( Chatterjee ) and Chandramoni Devi Were His Parents. He Loved God From Childhood. He Came to Dakshineswar to Worship Mother Bhabotarini. Sri Ramakrishna Could See God. Sri Sarada Devi Was His Wife. Swami Vivekananda Was His Great Disciple. Sri Ramakrishna Did Not Know How to Read and Write. But He Was Very Learned. He Didn't Believe in Casteism. He Died in 1886.

                                     Swami Vivekananda Was a Great Monk of India. He Was Born at Shimla in Kolkata in 1863. Biswanath Dutta and Bhubaneswari Devi Were His Parents. He Was Called Bile in Childhood. He Was a Great Disciple of Sri Ramakrishna. Swamiji Attended The Parliament of Religions at Chicago in 1893. Then He Became Famous in The World. He Founded The Ramakrishna Math and Mission. Service to People Was His Aim. He Did Not Believe in Caste System. Sister Nivedita Was His Great Disciple. Swamiji Died in 1902. But He Will Always Live in Our Hearts.
