In This Festival God Shri Krishna and Goddess Sri Radha are Worshipped By A Large Number of People. It is The Festival of Colours. People, Old or Young, Rich or Poor Participate in This Colour Festival. They Spray or Sprinkle Colours on Each Other Out of Joy. Holi Promotes Unity and Friendship Among The People of Our Country.

                    The Car Festival
  
                           The Car Festival is a Big Festival of Our Country. It is Held in The Rainy Season. On This Occasion Lord Jagannath, Balaram and Subhadra are Worshipped By The People. They are Drawn in a Chariot, It is Beautifully Decorated and Drawn By Hundreds of People. Many People Gather to See The Festival. Fairs are Held on The Occasion. Millions of People Go To See and Enjoy This Car Festival at Puri and Mahesh. The Festival Goes on For a Week. On The Eighth Day The Chariot is Drawn Back. This is Called Ultorath.

                      The Sun

                            The Sun is The Brightest Thing in The Sky. It is a Big Ball of Fire. It is Very Far From Us. So It Looks Small. It Rises in The East in The Morning. It Sets in The West in The Evening. We Get Light and Heat From The Sun. Every Living Being Needs Light and Heat to Grow. We Cannot Get Food Without Sunlight. The Earth is a Planet of The Sun. It Moves Round The Sun. It is Very Useful to Man. Change of Seasons and Day-Night Occur For The Sun. The Sun Controls The Weather of The Earth. Hindus and Muslims Worship The Sun.

                     The Moon

                           The Moon is The Most Beautiful Thing in The Sky. During The Day We Cannot See The Moon, Because of The Bright Sunshine. We See The Moon at Night. It is Round. It is Very Bright. It Rises in The East and Sets in The West. Moonlight is Very Soft. The Moon Gets Light From The Sun. Man Has Landed on The Moon. It is a Satellite of The Earth. It Moves Round The Earth. The Moon Looks in Different Shapes in Different Times. For Fifteen Days It Grows Bigger. Then It Becomes Round Like a Ball. We Call It Fullmoon. After This It Starts to Become Smaller. On The Fifteenth Day There is No Moon in The Sky. The Moon is a Holy Thing to Hindus and Muslims.

                    The Earth

                           We Live on Earth. It is a Planet. It is The Third Planet Away From The Sun. It Moves Round The Sun. It Has Days and Nights Because of Its Rotation. One Third of This Earth is Land. Two-Thirds of It are Water. There are Five Oceans on Earth. The Pacific Ocean is The Biggest of All. There are Seven Continents on Earth. Asia is The Biggest of All. There are Many Hills, Seas, Lakes and Rivers Here. There are Also Many Countries, Villages, Cities and Towns. The Earth Has Many Plants, Trees and Woods. There are also Many Animals on Earth. Man is The Most Intelligent of Them. We All Should Keep Our Earth Beautiful.

                    The Stars

                "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star
             How I Wonder What You Are!"
                    This Saying is Very True. Actually We Do Not Know Exactly What Stars Are. They Twinkle in The Sky. Stars are So Many in Number. We See Them in The Sky at Night. They Look Very Small. But They are Actually Not Small. They are Very Big in Size. Some Stars are Bigger Than The Earth, The Moon and Even The Sun. They are So Far Away. For This They Look So Small. Stars Have Their Own Light. The Evening Star, North Star and Other Stars are Very Big and Bright.

How Do You Write a Paragraph Easily? 

                       A Picnic

                              On 1st January in This Year We Went For a Picnic. Kalyani Picnic Garden Was Our Picnic Spot. I Went There With My Parents and Other Members of Our Family. Some Other Families in Our Locality also Joined Us. We Started Early in The Morning. We Went There By Car. It Was a Beautiful Spot Beside The Ganges. Many Picnic Parties also Went There. We Spent The Time Joyfully. We Played Cricket and Badminton. Some Lay Idle on The Lawn and Listened to Music. We also Ate Boiled Rice & Chicken Curry A Lot. In The Afternoon We Enjoyed Boating on The River. We also Enjoyed The Glorious Sunset. Then We Returned Home With a Very Happy Mind.

                       Durga Puja

                              Durga Puja is a Famous Hindu Festival. It is Held in The Season of Autumn. Goddess Durga and Her Four Children Kartikeya, Ganesha, Lakshmi and Saraswati are Now Worshipped. Goddess Durga is The Symbol of Power. She Has Ten Weapons in Her Ten Hands. She is in The Mood and Posture of Killing The Demon. Bengali People Enjoy The Four Days of The Festival Very Much. They Wear New Clothes and Eat Nice Foods. The Puja Pandals are Nicely Decorated With Flowers and Lights. It is a Great Festival For Children also. We all Feel Sad When The Festival Ends.

                       Muharram

                            Muharram is a Great Festival of Muslims. This Festival is Observed to Remember Hassan and Hussain. They Were The Two Grandsons of Hazarat Muhammed. They Were Killed By Ejid Very Cruelly in Karbala Ground. The Muslims Observe The Festival in Memory of Their Death. In This Festival Colourful Processions are Taken Out. There are Tazias in The Processions. During The Processions, People Cry Out, "Hassan! Hussain!" On The Eleventh Day, The Tazias are Immersed. At Last, People Join a Feast.

                       Saraswati Puja

                             Saraswati Puja is The Greatest Festival of Students. It is also Called or Known as Vasant ( Basant ) Panchami in All Over India. In This Festival, We Worship The Goddess of Learning. Students Enjoy The Festival Very Much. It is Their Own Festival. On This Occasion Pandals are Nicely Decorated With Flowers. Students Offer 'Puspanjali' ( Flower Tributes ) The Goddess in The Morning. They Pray to The Goddess For Knowledge. In Some Places, Cultural Programmes are Held. Students Participate in These Programmes. They Sing, Dance, Recite and Present Stage Dramas. Thus They Enjoy The Festival. Another Interesting Part is 'Dadhikarma'. The Devi is Immersed The Next Day.

                       Diwali

                            Diwali is The Festival of Lights. It is also Called Deepavali. It is Held in Autumn. During This Festival, People Decorate Their Houses With Lights. Houses Look Very Nice. The Evening on This Day Looks Like a Morning. Diwali Festival Has It's Meaning. The Light Means Good. It Defeats Darkness. Darkness Means Bad. So Diwali Means The Win of Good Over Bad. It is a Very Popular Festival of Our Country. In Bengal Kalipuja is Observed on This Day. People also Worship Goddess of Wealth, Lakshmi. Children Like This Festival Very Much. They Burn Many Fireworks and Crackers.

                       Christmas

                             Christmas is The Greatest Festival of Christians. It is Held on 25th December Every Year. It is Held to Celebrate The Birthday of Jesus Christ. He Was Born on This Particular Day. Christians Celebrate The Day in Many Ways. The Festival Goes on For a Week. Churches and Houses are Nicely Decorated With Lights and Flowers. Christians Sing Carols. They Go to Churches For Special Prayers. Christmas Trees are Made. Family Meetings are Held Around This Tree. They Worship Jesus on The Day. People of Other Religions also Join This Festival. Thus Christmas is a Festival of All.

                       A Visit to a Circus

                              On 25th December in The Year 1986, I Visited a Circus. I Went There With My Parents, and Younger Sister. The Circus Came to The Park Circus Maidan in Kolkata. It Was The Famous Olympic Circus. We Sat on The Gallery. We Were Delighted By The Clown. He Was Very Short. He Wore Some Funny Clothes. We Liked His Antics Very Much. Men and Women Were Playing on The Wire and Some Were Vaulting in The Air. The Tiger, The Lion and The Elephant Were also Showing Us Their Plays. But The Game of Trapiz Was Most Exciting. During The Show, We Had Snacks Every Now and Then. Thus, We Enjoyed Our Visit to The Circus Very Much.

                    A Visit to a Fair

                           This Year, I Visited The Fair at Mahesh. It is Very Famous Well Known as 'Mahesher Rath'. The Fair Was Held During The Car Festival Rathyatra. I Went There With My Father. It Was Really a Large Fair. There Were Stalls of Bangle Sellers, Sweets and Toys. Many People Came to See The Car With Jagannath, Subhadra and Balaram. They Were Buying Many Things. The Fair Ground Was Over Crowded. There Was a Great Noise in This Fair Ground. Children Were Buying Toys and Colourful Balloons. The Merry Go Round was Very Interesting. I Had Ride on It and Enjoyed it So Much. I Bought So Many Toys. Before We Left The Fair, We Had Eaten Jalebis, Papad Fry, Oil Cakes Made With Potato and My All Time Favourite Street Food Fuchka. I Enjoyed The Fair Very Much.

                 A Visit to an Exhibition

                          Last Winter, I Visited a Flower Exhibition at Narendrapur Near Garia, Kolkata. I Went There With My Parents. It Was Held in Narendrapur Ramakrishna Mission  Ashram Compound Area. In This Exhibition Many Flowers Were Shown. There Were A Variety of Flowers in This Exhibition. There Were The Rose, Dahlia, Chrysanthemum, Poppy, Marigold, Cannon-Ball, Screw Pine, Magnolia, Erythrin etc.. The Flowers Were in Different Sizes & Colours. But All of Those Were Very Beautiful. Many Visitors Went to See The Exhibition. We Went Round The Exhibition. The Place Looked Like The Paradise on Earth. Many Men, Women & Children Were Enjoying The Exhibition. The Honourable Authority of Ramakrishna Mission Ashram Arranges This Flower Exhibition in Winter Every Year. It is also Very Famous in South Kolkata and South 24 Parganas District. I Enjoyed It Greatly.

              Your Visit to The Museum

                    On Last 23rd January, I Went to Visit The Indian Museum in Kolkata With My Parents. My Father Took Us There. This Gave Me Joy As Well As Informations. We Saw Many Things There. We Saw There Many Old Coins, Strange Writings, Paintings, Images, Arms etc. But The Dead Animals Were Very Interesting. I Was Very Afraid of Them. They Were So Near Us. They Looked Like Living Animals in The Zoo. The Statues and Art Works Showed and Brought Before Us a Rich Culture of Ancient India. There Were Weapons Used in Different Ages in The Past. My Visit to The Museum Was Very Enjoyable.

                        A Visit to Puri

                             In The Last Week of December 2018, I Went to Puri. It is in The State of Odisha. I Went There With My Parents. From The Howrah Station We Boarded The Sri Jagannath Express. The Railway Journey Was Very Interesting. The Next Morning We Reached Puri. We Stayed There at a Hotel on The Seaside. I Was Delighted By The Sea. There Were High Waves. The Sea Looked Blue. We Bathed in The Sea. There Were Many People on The Puri Sea Beach. The Sunrise and Sunset There Were Very Beautiful. We also Visited The Famous Jagannath Temple, Konark Sun Temple, Udaigiri-Khandagiri, NandanKanan Zoological Park, Swargdwar Burning Ghat, Bhitarkanika etc. During Our Schedule Time Period. We Came Back Our Home After Five Days. Thus Our Visit to Puri Was Very Charming and Memorable.

                  A Visit to a Hospital

                       Last Sunday, I Went to The S. S. K. M. Hospital. I Went There to See My Admitted Friend. I Visited The Hospital With My Father. This Was My First Visit to a Hospital. At First I Visited My Friend. I Spent Sometime With Him. He Became Very Happy to See Me Beside Him. There Were Many Other Patients in The Room. They Were Lying on Beds. Nurses Were Serving Them Very Carefully. Doctors Were Busy With Their Duties. Some Men & Women Came There to Visit Their Relatives. But There Was No Noise. A Smell of Medicine Was Everywhere in The Hospital. At 6 O'Clock The Visiting Hours Were Over. Then I Left The Hospital. On That Day I Had a New Experience.

                            Almost Every School Has a Magazine of Their Own. It is an Essential Part of a School. Our School also Publishes a Magazine. The Name of Our School Magazine is 'Nabarun'. It is Published Once a Year. The Students of Our School Write For It. They Write Essays, Stories, Poems, Puzzles etc. The Teachers Select Good Writings. The Writings are First Sent to The Press For Printing. A Group of Teachers and Students Edit Manuscripts. When The Magazine is Printed, It is Distributed Among Students and Teachers. The School Magazine Encourages The Young Writers to Become Good Writers.

       A Cultural Function at Your School

                            The Rabindra Jayanti Was Held at Our School on Thursday, 9th May Last. It Was Held on Our School Campus. A Stage Was Made on The Playground. It Was Decorated Nicely With Flowers. Every Student Participated in The Programme. They Sang, Recited Poems and Staged Dramas. Thus Students Remembered The Great Poet. Then The Chief Guest Spoke Something About The Poet's Life and Works. His Speech Was Very Nice. He Asked Us to Follow Tagore. The Headmaster also Presented a Fine Speech. The Function Ended With a Vote of Thanks Given By The Assistant Head Sir.

       The Independence Day at Your School

             The Last Independence Day ( India) 15th August , 2018 Was Celebrated at Our School With Enthusiasm. On This Day The School Campus Was Nicely Decorated With Flowers and Flags. Students Went to School in Clean School Uniforms. All Stood in Rows. Our Headmaster Hoisted The National Flag. Then a Function Was Held. There Students Sang Patriotic Songs and Some Recited Poems. Some Made Speeches also. Our Headmaster Spoke About The Importance of The Day. Then We Remembered The Freedom-Fighters of Our Country. At The End, Sweets Were Given to All. I Enjoyed The Programme Very Much.

                     My Favourite Game

                               Football is My Favourite Game. We Play Football on a Big Ground. It is Rectangular in Shape. Every Team Has Eleven Players. There are Two Goal Posts in The Ground. Every Team Has a Goalkeeper. The Ball is Round in Shape. It is Made of Leather. Football is Played With Legs. Only The Goalkeepers Can Hold it With Hands. A Referee Conducts The Game. There are Two Linesmen With Him. The Team Which Scores More Number of Goals Wins The Match. Football is a Very Interesting Game. It Increases Fitness of The Footballer. Pele and Platini, Messy and Maradona are Great Footballers. It is The Most Popular Game in The World.

                            My Hobby

                            Everyone Has His Own Hobby. I Have also a Hobby. My Hobby is Stamp Collection. I Collect Stamps of Our Country and Those of Many Foreign Countries. My Parents and Relatives also Help Me. I Can Learn Many Things About The History, Geography and Cultures of Those Countries Through My Hobby. My Interest About Those Countries and Cultures Gradually Grow. I Have a Rich Collection of Stamps. When I Feel Bored, I See The Stamps and Become Happy & Fresh Again. Thus My Leisure is Filled With Joy.

                      A Visit to The Zoo

                              Last Sunday I Went to The Alipur Zoo ( Alipore Zoological Garden ). I Went There With My Parents. It Was The First Day of This Year, I Mean 1st January, 2019. So The Zoo Was Very Crowded. We Visited Many Birds and Beasts in The Zoo. We Saw There Parrots, Peacocks, Giraffes, Zebras, Lions, Tigers, Monkeys, Snakes and Many Other Animals. I also Visited The Deer Park. It Was Full of Deer. We also Saw Some Rare African Birds. I Talked to The Parrots and The Monkeys Delighted Us Much. They Were The Most Funny Creatures in The Zoo. Before We Left The Zoo, We Had Taken Some Refreshment. It Was Really a Nice Visit to The Zoo.
