                     The Sky

We Always See The Sky Above Our Heads. The Sky is Very Big. It Has No Limit. It Looks Blue When It is Clear. In The Rainy Season It Looks Black Because of Clouds. The Sky is an Empty Space. There is Only Air in The Sky. There are Millions of Stars in The Sky. The Night Sky Filled With Stars is Very Beautiful to Look at. All The Planets are There in The Sky. The Sun Shines in The Sky During The Day. In The Rainy Season, The Rainbow Rises in The Sky. The Moon Shines at Night. The Sky Looks Like A Huge Cover Above The Earth.

                     The River

There are Many Rivers in Our Country. Maximum Number of Rivers Come From Hills and Mountains. Then These Flow Down The Plain. At Last These Fall Into The Sea. Some Rivers are Small and Some are Big. In Some Rivers There is Water Throughout The Year. Some Rivers Have Much Water Only in The Rainy Season. The River Sometimes Causes Floods. Floods Kill Men, Animals and Destroy Crops and Houses. But Rivers are Very Useful. They Make The Land Fertile. River Water is Used in Cultivation and Drinking Purpose. The Ganges, The Jamuna, The Brahmaputra and  The Narmada  are Some Famous Rivers in Our Country.

                      The Sea

The  Sea is a Vast Stretch of Water. It Seems to be an Endless Expanse of Water. All The Rivers of The World Unite With Seas. There are Many Seas in The World - The Arabian Sea, The Red Sea, The Baltic Sea, The Carribean Sea Etc. Seas are Smaller Than Oceans. The Sea Helps Us in Many Ways. Firstly Seas Give Us Rain. The South-West Trade Wind Causes Rain in Our Country Crossing Over Thousands of Miles on The Sea. Secondly, The Sea Supplies Us With Fresh Air. It is Very Refreshing and Invigorating and Health-Giving. Thirdly, We Use Seas For Going Across The World By Ship. Last Not The Least, The Sea is a Source of Sea-Food Like Fish, Oyster, Cod and Plenty More.

                     Deserts

A Desert is a Sea of Sands. The Sahara in Africa is The Largest Desert in The World. In India The Thar in Rajasthan is The Only Desert. The Gobi in China and The Atakama in South America are Some Other Famous Deserts. But How is The Desert Formed? There Were a Great Expanses Rock on The Places Where We Find Deserts Now. The Rock Slowly and Gradually Broke into Pieces and Finally Sands Following Expansion and Contraction of The Rock in Continuous Heat and Cold. Oasis are The Only Places in The Desert Where One Can Find Trees and Water. The Camel is The Only Animal That Can Walk Across The Desert. That is Why It is Called 'The Ship of The Desert'.

                    The Hill

The Hill is a Very High Land. There are Many Hills in India. Hills are of Different Sizes and Heights. These are Very Useful. Many Rivers Originate From Hills. There are Many Plants, Trees and Bushes in The Hill. Some Hills Have Few Trees. But The Land is Stony and Not Fertile. There are also Snakes and Wild Animals in Hills. Many Flowers Grow in The Hills. The Natural Beauty of The Hill is Very Nice. The Air is Very Fresh and Pure. So People Go to Hills for a Visit. The Shushunia, The Ayodhya, The Biharinath etc. are Some of The Famous Hills of West Bengal. The Beauty of Hills is Wonderful. So Many People Visit Them.

                     Clouds

We See Clouds in The Rainy Season. Some Clouds are Rain Clouds. These Look Black. The Others are Rainless Clouds. These are White. Clouds Float From One End of The Sky to The Other. Clouds Give Rain. But How Do They Form? First, Sea Water Goes Up into The Sky in The Form of Vapour. Warm Air Holds a Plenty of This Unseen Vapour. In The Sky This Vapour Gets Cold and Becomes Bigger and Heavier in Size. It is Called Condensation. Then The Vapour Comes Down on Earth in The Form of Rain Drops. Without Rain, There Can Be No Cultivation. So Clouds are a Great Blessing to Us.
