The Two Doctors

An old man fell ill and called for a doctor. Soon, the old man sent for another doctor. The second doctor gave a different treatment from what was advised by the first doctor. The two doctors continued treating the old man for two different sicknesses. One day, the doctors met by chance at the old man's bedside and started arguing. The old man woke up and said, 'Please stop arguing. You didn't ask me the problem just prescribed medicines. I have been well for ten days without taking either of your medicines.'

Morality:- A doctor should listen well to his patients.

The Happy Hen

A hen was crackling on a firm, near a swamp. A frog called out, 'Mrs. Hen, please be quiet.' The hen stopped at once and looked up at the frog in surprise. The frog continued, 'Why are you making such a racket?' The hen asked, 'Can't you see I have laid an egg?' Oh, such a lot of noise over one egg!' said the frog. 'I never complain when you croak at night. Today, I am singing because I have done something good, though it may be small.' said the hen.

Morality:- You must learn to share the happiness of others.

Love Your True Self

God created man as his best work. When animals saw man, they started imitating him. The lion took on man's strength and dynamism. The fox imitated man's cleverness. The dog gained man's friendly nature. The parrot started talking in the human tongue. The ape controlled his hands. The cat adopted man's elegant walk, sharp looks and serious nature. But Destiny said, 'You all have gained manly qualities but you should not be unhappy with their original selves.' Destiny taught them to inculcate the qualities of others, but not to dislike their true self.

MORAL:- Everyone has unique qualities in them.

The Merchant and the Mermaid

A kind merchant always fed the poor. Soon, his money ran out. He thought, 'I must go to the enchanted city and bring more gold.' While sailing, he stopped at an island and met an old man. He gave him food and water. Soon, a storm arose and the ship sank. When he was drowning, a mermaid rescued him. She said, 'I am the old man you were so kind to. What do you want?' The merchant said, 'Gold to provide for the poor.' She gave him a ship and lots of gold.

Moral:- Help the poor and God will help you.

The Brave Horse

A dog was roaming in the jungle. Just then, he saw a horse wearing a decorated saddle. The dog asked, 'Are you going for an important competition?' The horse said, 'I am going to the battle field.' The dog said, 'You are going to fight the enemy and you could lose your life. Stay back and we will enjoy.' The horse said, 'If I die, I shall die fulfilling my duty. I will protect my country and thus leave the memory of a good name behind.' The dog was impressed with his bravery and sacrifice.

MORALITY:- ALWAYS FIGHT BRAVELY FOR THE RIGHT CAUSE.

A Boastful Owl

An eagle often ate up owl's children. One day, the eagle said, 'We are neighbours, and we should become friends!' The owl replied, Promise that you will stop eating my children. They are the ones with pretty eyes.' The eagle promised. A few days later, the eagle saws owl's children. But she thought, 'These are ugly children with large yellow eyes. They cannot be the owl's children.' The eagle ate them. The owl was angry. The eagle said, 'You said that your children are beautiful. I ate ugly children.' The owl stopped boasting.

MORAL:- Boasting About Ownself Only Brings Trouble.

The Fox and The Mole

A hungry fox sat under a tree, waiting for a prey to pass by. Just then, she saw a mole who lived in a hole under the tree. The fox said, 'God is unkind to you. You live underground and cannot enjoy the sun.' The mole said, 'I am very thankful to God for his gifts.' The fox laughed, 'God dose not care for creatures like you.' He said, 'God loves me. He protects those who have faith in Him.' Suddenly, the mole ran inside his hole. The next moment, a hunter came and shot the fox.

MORAL:- Do Not Put Others Down Because God Treats Everyone Equally.

The hare saw the dogs and jumped from one place to another. The dogs, too, followed him. The garden was completely destroyed!' Mike cried, 'I was a fool to have taken your help!
