The Thief and the Neem Tree

 Once, a thief put his stolen goods under a neem tree's trunk and lay down. The neem tree thought, 'If this thief is caught, he will be punished. I will be heart, too, so let me drive him away.' He said, 'Thief, the King's men are coming to get you.' The thief fled to the forest nearby. Seeing this a mango tree said, 'By helping the thief you have caused trouble to many people.' The neem tree realised his mistake. Soon, some soldiers came by. The neem tree informed them about the thief and they caught him. 

Morality:- IT IS A CRIME TO HELP A CRIMINAL. 

Use Your Time Wisely

 While digging in a mine, the workmen found a huge toad. They said, 'This toad must be as old as the mountain itself. The toad swelled with pride and said, 'There is no one more important than me.' A fly heard this and said, 'Do not boast! I was born this morning and die this evening. But, I will do everything I need to do in these twelve hours. I will even have children before sunset. It is better to have a short and happy life than a long and wasted one!'

Morality:- MAKE GOOD USE OF YOUR TIME.

The Stag and the Fawn

 Once, a deer brought her son to a Stag and said, 'My Fawn does not know how to keep himself safe from hunters. Can you teach him?' The stag agreed. But the fawn was very overconfident and thought it was boring and useless to learn, so he never went to the stag. Two months later, the fawn was caught in a trap. His mother complained, 'Stag, why did you not teach my son?' The stag said, 'Your son was irresponsible and overconfident. He never came to me.' The fawn was trapped because he had no time to learn what was useful for him. 

Morality:- OVERCONFIDENCE BRINGS TROUBLE. 

The Tortoise and the King

 A lazy King and his minister, once, came across a tortoise. The King asked, 'Tortoise, you are very slow. How will you escape in a fire?' The tortoise replied, 'I will hide in a hole.' Then the minister asked, What if you don't find any holes?' The tortoise replied, 'Then I'll die!' The king said, 'This foolish creature is ready to die, but won't stop being lazy.' The minister replied, 'Likewise, a ruler's laziness will also affect his kingdom.' The King understood what his wise minister meant. He worked hard and became a powerful king. 

Morality:- WE MUST NOT BE LAZY.

The Wise Courtier

 A King had Cruel horse called 'Big Chestnut'. Once, some horse dealers came to trade. As their prices were high, the cunning King instructed, 'Let Big Chestnut run loose. He will wound their horses, forcing them to lower their prices.' A wise courtier suggested the dealers, 'The next time, bring your cruellest horse.' And so it was done. The King again let Big Chestnut loose. When the horses met, they started licking each other. The courtier explained, 'Majesty, they will not fight as they are similar. Don't harm other men's goods.' The King Became fair in his dealings. 

Morality:- BE FAIR AND DO NOT FOOL OTHERS. 

Be Humble

In a Garden, a Rose Bush Was Planted Close to a Dull Spruce. One June, as The Rose Bush Was in Full Bloom, She Looked Down on the Spruce and Said, 'I am the Queen of the Garden. All the Other Plants Should Honour Me!' The Rose Asked the Gardener to Cut the Spruce. The Gardener Said, 'The Spruce Flowers in Winter When not a Single Rose Can be Seen! She Covers and Protects You From the Cold.' He also Added, 'Enjoy Your Beauty Till It Lasts. Be Kind and Friendly Towards Others.'

Morality:- We Should be Humble and Kind to Everyone.

The Fisherman and The Fish

 A Fish Was Training Her Babies How to Swim. Suddenly, A Fisherman Lowered His Net and The Fish Was Caught. He Built a Fire to Cook The Fish. The Fish Said, 'I'm not Afraid of Dying. But My Babies Won't Know Their Mother.' The Fisherman's Wife Heard What The Fish Said. Being a Mother Herself, She Felt Sorry and Convinced Her Husband to Put The Fish Back in The Water. The Next Day, When The Fisherman Pulled Up His Net, It Was Loaded With Pearls. The Fish Said, 'I Can Give You Pearls For Your Kindness.' The Fisherman Started Trading Pearls. 

Morality:- BE KIND AND UNDERSTANDING TOWARDS EVERYONE. 

The Moon and The Ugly Witch

 Once, an Ugly Witch Lived Near a Forest. All The Trees, Birds and Animals Trembled When She Entered The Forest. The Fairies Were Upset to See Them Scared. So, They Sent The Moon to Talk to The Witch. The Moon Asked, 'Why Do You Scare Everyone?' She Replied, 'I Don't Intend to Scare Anyone. I Come to The Forest to be Friend Animals as I Don't Have Any Friends.' The Moon Felt Sorry and Said, 'I Understand That You are Very Kind But The Animals are Scared of Your Ugly Looks.' He Told Everyone in The Forest About The Good Witch. Soon, All The Animals and Birds Became Good Friends With The Witch. 

Morality:- DON'T JUDGE A PERSON BY HIS LOOKS.

The Ungrateful Lion

 Very Popular Moral Story - 

A Woodpecker Saw a Lion Choking as a Bone Got Got Stuck in His Throat. The Woodpecker Said, 'I Can Take Out the Bone. But, You Will Eat Me'. The Lion Promised Not to Eat Him. But, The Woodpecker Fixed a Stick Between The Lion's Jaws and Removed the Bone. Next Day, The Woodpecker Said, 'Lion, Please Give Some Meat as Reward For My Help'. The Lion Growled, 'I Left You Alive! That Was a Reward Enough'! The Woodpecker Thought, 'Thank God, I Put The Stick in His Mouth or He Would Have Eaten Me'!

Alok and The Thief

World Famous Moral Story - A Wise Alok Was Known For His Kindness. One Day a Thief Stole Jewels From a Jewellery Shop. While Escaping Thief Accidentally Dropped The Jewels in Front of His House. The Villagers Marched The Alok to The King. The Alok Cried that He Had Not Stolen. But The King Ordered, ' Tie Him to a Tree'. The Next Day The Villagers Caught The Real Thief. The Great King Ordered The Alok to be Freed and Asked His Forgiveness. He Said, 'I Forgive You. You Were Only Doing Your Duty'. The King Punished The Thief. 
Morality - HONEST PEOPLE ARE ALWAYS RESPECTED.
