Witty Fox

Once, a lion invited an ass to his house. As soon as he entered the lion's cave, the lion caught him. The lion told his minister, 'Fox, watch the ass. If you touch him, I shall be angry.' The fox waited but grew hungry. As the lion was nowhere in sight, he ate the ass's brain. The lion returned and roared, 'Fox, where is the ass's brain? The fox quickly said, 'Brain? The ass had none. Or he wouldn't have walked into your trap so easily.' The lion laughed and the fox was saved.
